Tickets will be sold at the door : Students and Senior Citizens will be $6.00 and Adults will be $10.00. Community Talkback Friday, November 10th directly following the show. Shakespeare's plays are written in a 5 Act Structure. Act one is generally thought of as a Prologue. In Act two the action’s conflict is developed. Act three is full of rising action and generally ends with the crux of the conflict. Act four contains the falling action and Act five draws the action together to the final dénouement. Our presentation of Macbeth will be performed in two acts. The students are thinking about taking this piece to a theatre competition early next year. In order for a play to qualify for competition, it must be edited down to a 45-minute run-time. Currently, we have this piece edited down to about an hour. If you have questions about any of our edits or any of the play’s content please be sure to either ask a cast member or join us on November 10th right after the play for a talkback about our presentation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. LHS Parents and Community Supporters, This year we have been working with our teachers and students to develop a set of expectations for everyone in the LHS school community. For many decades the saying, “Once a Ram; Always a Ram” has been used at Lamphere High School. We hope to build upon this saying and better define just what we want from our Rams. I would like to invite you to join me on November 13th to bring your voice and ideas to the development of the LHS WAY which I hope will bring clarity to what we expect of our LHS Rams. At 6 pm in the media center on November 16th, I will be meeting with parents and community members that would like to participate. Please RSVP to Tracey Achrem via phone (248) 589-3943 or email achremt@lamphereschools.org so we can plan accordingly for those that will be attending. Thank you!
